Designer Tip Application

Step 1. Thoroughly clean and prep nail plate. Shorten the natural nail to a minimum length to ensure maximum design application.

Step 2. Size and apply tip. We recommend the use of a liquid contact glue to ensure clear well of tip is completely secured and sealed in. Cut tip to desired length. Do NOT blend or buff tips as this will likely remove parts of the design. NB: If you try to shorten when completed, the pattern may lift away from the tip!

Step 3. Add additional decorations such as glitter, rhinestones etc at this stage before applying enhancement product. Decorations will then be embedded under product.

Step 4. Apply a full overlay of either gel or acrylic.

Step 5. File and shape the overlays until you achieve a smooth surface.

Step 6. Finish to a high gloss using either a miracle shine buffer, top coat or a UV set coating such as Artform Ultra Seal.

TIP: To add another dimension to your designer tip, paint the underneath of the tip with a contrasting polish colour. The effects can be stunning!
